Welcome to TakeCafe. TakeCafe makes takeaway coffee more convenient and sustainable by providing digital stamp cards and coffeecup tokens. TakeCafe V.O.F. is the Data Controller of your personal data.  We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Statement will inform you about how and why we collect, store, use and process your personal data when you create an account on our website. This Privacy Statement also aims to help you understand your privacy rights under data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).

When you create an account on our website, we collect the following personal data:

  • Email address
  • Username
  • Profile picture (optional)

We will only use your personal data where we are permitted to do so under the applicable law. The principle legal grounds that justify our use of your personal data are:

  • Performance of a contract: where your information is necessary to enter or perform our contract with you.
  • Legitimate interests: where we use your personal data to achieve a legitimate interest, such as being able to offer our service to you. We will not process your data if your interests are overriding.

  • To enable you to collect digital stamps from coffee shops. 
  • To enable you to collect digital tokens from coffee shops.
  • To communicate with you, such as sending updates related to our services.

We may share your data with trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or serving our users, as long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential.
